The Eclipse Cross auto uses an all new CVT transmission with an 8 speed system and manual overide. An all new step logic gives the feel of a traditional auto whilst providing the benefits of a CVT.
The all new lightweight 6-speed manual gearbox is more responsive than ever and gives a more sporty feel to changing gear. This gearbox also provides greater fuel efficiency when travelling on longer journeys.
A true SUV, the Eclipse Cross sports the next generation S-AWC system, improving handling dynamics and stability both on corners and while driving on a straight road.
For normal road conditions. Maximising fuel economy and a smooth ride, the Eclipse Cross adjusts each wheel if conditions worsen or more power is required.
Improved stability on slippery roads and frozen conditions. Running the the Eclipse Cross in hybrid 4x4 mode to give enhanced traction in all forms of bad weather.
The Eclipse Cross switches to full 4WD for difficult terrain like gravel, sand and wet grass.
